The product organization is at the core of Airwallex, bringing together commercial strategy, engineering, design, and financial compliance to deliver Airwallex’s product suite to our global customers. Our customers range from SMEs that use our suite of Financial OS solutions to manage global payments to enterprise-scale partners who have built businesses on top of our platform and infrastructure. Supporting all domains across the Client API and associated Product Docs
Webhooks
Simulation APIs
Developer portal and self-service upgrades
Requirements
5 to 12 years of overall professional experience
CS degree
Engineering work experience not critical
Experience at large platform businesses preferred
Aws, cloudflare, mongodb, etc…
Direct experience on understanding and building out the developer lifecycle is important
I.e. the UX and workflow of a developer
Experience in product management, go-to-market propositions, product design, product planning and development
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another STEM discipline
Evidence of exemplary academic achievements (e.g. high GPA, Dean's list, scholarship etc.)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
Close attention to detail, ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principle insights
Drive, grit, and persistence to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time
Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
Experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy in order to drive meaningful product growth
Experience in any of the following is a plus: hyper growth startup environments, software engineering, financial technology
Solid technical understanding and ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineering teams
Hands-on with online payments or similar B2B domains with high conceptual complexity
