This role will support Aisle Rocket’s clients in the design, development and execution of simple to complex segmented email, SMS and direct mail campaigns. This position will work directly with the client to define targeting and list segmentation as well as support the client on related data queries and back-end campaign analysis when necessary. In addition to partnering with the client, this role is expected to partner with internal (Aisle Rocket) strategists, analysts and client service representatives to support client needs. Adobe Campaign Manager or Klaviyo experience preferred. This freelance role can be remote, ideally in the Chicago area.Responsibilities:● Meet with clients to develop marketing plans, identify tactics to meet their goals and drive better results.● Plan and develop integrated digital and direct mail marketing campaigns utilizing customer data and insights from in-house and 3rd party resources.● Use analytic insights and historical reporting to develop data segmentation that improves response rates as well as increases sales and ROI.● Create use cases and business cases with associated cost and revenue projections to forecast the impact of marketing campaigns.● Strategize new ways to collect first party data to better the customer experience, grow overall lead list and drive high ROI value creation.● Work collaboratively with remote teams to produce data-driven digital campaigns and assist with results reporting.● Support monthly traffic and revenue forecasting process for CRM-based batch and ongoing activations.● Define and create lead qualification and scoring procedures enabling strong activation segmentation throughout the consumer shopping journey and ownership experience.Email Campaign Management:Creating, scheduling, and sending email campaigns.A/B testing email content and subject lines.Segmenting audiences based on behaviors, demographics, and purchase history (less common).Automation Workflows:Designing and implementing workflows for customer onboarding, abandoned cart reminders, re-engagement, and post purchase follow-ups.Monitoring and optimizing workflow performance.Template Creation and Customization:Utilizing Klaviyo’s drag and drop editor to create email templates.Knowledge of/Editing Abilities for HTML/CSS for more advanced template customization.Personalization and Segmentation:Creating dynamic content blocks to personalize emails.Building and maintaining segments for targeted marketing or KP.Qualifications:● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, applied social sciences, or related field.● Expertise and experience in Adobe Campaign and Adobe Experience Manager(or similar platforms such as Salesforce, Iterable, Klaviyo).● Up to 5 years’ experience building pre-purchase and post-purchase segments.● Strong analytic skills and aptitude to help improve marketing performance.● At least 5 years of CRM Program Manager experience.● Good communication skills – this role will be client facing.● Organized and detail oriented.● Adaptable and flexible with the ability to shift focus on new priorities.● Experience or exposure working in an agile environment and understanding ofbasic agile ceremonies.● Highly dependable.● Enjoy working in a collaborative, team environment.● High level of expertise with reporting tools (Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Excel).● Prior experience working within marketing or advertising.Aisle Rocket is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
