Job Summary:The Store Management Apprentice position is designed to provide you with comprehensive training in all the critical areas of store management to prepare you for taking on your store later on. This training will involve monitoring store operations, improving store performance, identifying staffing gaps, scheduling logistics and enacting operational strategies, whilst also developing and inspiring your team to build their skills.• Position Type: Full-Time• The projected weekly work hours are 45• Those in the process of becoming a Store Manager can expect to earn $28.00 per hour• Projected Earnings for Store Managers in Their Debut Year: Up to $102,500 Based on Competitive Pay and Performance Evaluations• The estimation may be subject to change based on where you are as the cost of necessities may vary from place to place• Full Time Store Management Apprentices may frequently have to journey within a 50-mile radius of their chosen location/area as part of their dutiesJob Duties & Responsibilities:• Supervises the team to deliver top-quality customer service on a daily basis• Promotes collaboration and fosters a sense of community among employees by consistently embodying the organization's values and mission• Our commitment to providing exceptional customer service extends to resolving concerns and delivering quality solutions• Crucial to the success of ALDI is the continuous monitoring of the store's merchandise quality and the maintenance of proper signage• Aids in the recruitment of store personnel by evaluating resumes and employment applications, and interviewing suitable candidates for the position• Drafting, overseeing, and revising weekly timetables to ensure suitable staff levels for the store• Determines and communicates work obligations and measures of success to team members to enable mutual understanding and desired outcomes• Conducts store meetings• Demonstrates a keen understanding of the specific skills, knowledge, and behaviors required by direct reports to succeed, and recommends customized training and development solutions accordingly• Executes annual evaluations of job performance, advising on promotions and terminations as required for store personnel• Accomplishes payroll and loss objectives for the store• Administers the process of cash audits with the participation of their direct leader in agreement with the corporate framework• Follows the competition within the area and advises the superior about any changes that may be needed to remain competitive• Shares their feedback and perceptions on the product line with their direct supervisor, providing recommendations on new stock items and those that need to be eliminated• Establishes a safe and secure environment to operate in by proactively identifying and resolving potential risks, promoting proper ergonomics, and maintaining all store equipment• Monitors market trends and consumer demand to make informed decisions about product orders• Conducts accurate inventory counts and reconciliations at the store using the guidelines laid down by the company• Abides by all official company directives and standards, while guarding the security and privacy of documents and information• Further responsibilities may be delegatedPhysical Demands:• Competency in shifting merchandise from the store receiving section to the shelves, coupled with the proficiency to arrange items weighing up to 45 pounds on the shelves at different levels• The nature of the store demands mobility;
