Fleet Planning Analyst

Summary

The Fleet Planning Analyst will evaluate the financial merit of the airline’s fleet related projects and participate in the commercial program management of the airframe and engine maintenance programs.

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Requirements

•One to two years of experience in a related activity, especially aircraft or airline experience.


Job Duties

•Provide in-depth analyses of business results, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and communicate findings with management.

•Forecast and budget for the company engine and/or aircraft maintenance, retirement, and teardown programs.

•Coordinate with internal Materials and Engineering teams regarding heavy maintenance work scope management, optimizing for both performance and cost.

•Evaluate commercial feasibility of potential fleet modifications and upgrades.

•Perform financial analyses of long-term contracts for engine and airframe heavy maintenance.

•Complete buy vs build analyses on potential engine decisions.

•Perform in-depth analysis of current and potential fleet transactions (final purchase price calculations and engine maintenance review for scheduled aircraft acquisitions).

•Monitor compliance with aircraft and engine leases and finance status as it relates to maintenance decisions.

•Assist internal Accounting & Finance teams with financial reporting and forecasting of heavy maintenance expenses.

•Support management of the airframe and engine fleet plan and forecast.

•Provide support for ongoing RFPs for airframe and engine maintenance.

•Perform ad-hoc modeling support for the engine and heavy maintenance programs.

•Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.

•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.


Essential Services Provider
