A hybrid work model requires one day a week in the office
In Merchant Experience we holistically handle our Merchant processes. From acquiring new Customers, through their registration, verification and account setup, publication and editing of listings, order management, sale statistics delivery and payment and pricelist management, to API integrations. Every day, we deal with challenges related to heavy traffic, large data volumes and solution scaling, so as to meet the needs of the Customers and of the business.
API Technical Writer is a cross-functional position combining 3 main tasks: development, communication and support of Allegro API.
The main challenges are ensuring:
highest quality API documentation and API stability.
highest quality responses and solutions to problems from all integrators within the specified time.
communication and educational layer was understandable to developers on all experience levels.
basic API knowledge throughout the whole company.
We are looking for people who:
Understand software development lifecycle
Feel comfortable working with data analysis and interpretation
Want to gain deeper knowledge of the technical aspects of API integration, as well as the ability to manage the integration process from start to finish
Have strong communication skills
Understand what it means to be creative and innovative
Have data driven, problem-solving and critical thinking mindset
Are eager to continuously develop their skills and expand their knowledge
Can effectively work with others and based on deadlines
Know Czech or Slovak and English at min. B2 level

In your daily work you will handle the following tasks:
Publication API changes - verification, suggestion solutions and argumentation the validity of introducing changes to the public API
Analysis and verification the functioning of API Stability
Technical Support - supports external and internal clients in the field of API
Internal Support - supports our internal integrations, e.g. with Rithum
Trainings and meetings - conducts external and internal training. Participates in meetings with strategic API partners (sellers, integrators)
Cooperation with business - regularly and productively cooperates with many teams - both development and business in the field of API
Documentation - prepares communication and documentation regarding changes and new features in the API
