A much-deserved retirement leaves us searching for our next Database Management Specialist! This position works with our Technical Services team performing administrative duties related to the management of the cataloging database, including troubleshooting errors, database record repair, writing and using database reports, adding new bound periodicals and labeling of items.

This is a full-time position working out of our DiSalle location. Hours are flexible daytime hours, Monday-Friday.
Requirements- Two (2) years of college level coursework AND two (2) years of library operations experience; OR
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Experience resolving cataloging database issues preferred
- Principles and practices of cataloging utilizing the Dewey Decimal Classification, Library of Congress Subject Headings, MARC records, cataloging aids and RDA standards a plus
Compensation & Benefits- Hourly pay rate starting at $14.56/hour ($30,000/year) and up based on related and comparable experience
