Yext is looking for a Director of AWS Alliance to grow and scale our partnership with AWS globally. This individual contributor will own the strategy and execution for AWS build, market and sell initiatives. Success in this position will require the individual to have:

  • Proven experience in building and scaling through AWS MarketPlace (AWS MP),
  • Executive presence while exhibiting a keen ability to achieve buy-in from influencers and key decision-makers both internally and externally for accomplishing partnership objectives
  • Strategic thinking and the grit to deliver on your AWS Partnership vision and plan.

What You'll Do

  • Align with sales leadership and sellers at Yext and AWS on a long term partnership vision and annual goals and complete this plan
  • Identify new strategic go to market opportunities across targeted industry verticals and geographies
  • Build and implement the AWS Partnership business plan with key AWS and internal collaborators (sales, marketing, legal, product management and engineering)
  • Be responsible for an AWS 'Sell With' revenue number and implement a sales strategy by leading with AWS MP
  • Cultivate positive relationships at all levels within AWS and Yext
  • Improve and accelerate Yext's GTM and relationships with Agencies, Regional and Global System Integrators, Managed Service Providers and Resellers
  • Be responsible for a pipeline target and build a qualified pipeline of AWS and as well as Yext sourced opportunities
  • Leverage ACE (AWS Customer Engagement) portal and internal CRM tools for managing pipeline activities
  • Own the execution of AWS Marketplace Private Offers (MPPO) and Channel Partner Private Offers (CPPO) with Channel Partners.
  • Work cross functionally both internally and externally to gain support for key solution and go to market initiatives
  • Own and develop annual business plan and sales enablement collateral
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast funnel of the opportunities to meet and exceed partnership revenue objectives
  • Promote Yext at events and conferences
  • Voice support for AWS within Yext
  • Sustain positive relationships with internal customers cross-functionally and act as a partner to the direct sales team
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and implement co-marketing programs to support sales objectives
  • Develop creative ways to engage and evangelize Yext products and offerings on AWS across multiple practices, offices, and teams

What You Have

  • BA/BS degree or similar university level education
  • 7+ years of experience in role or domain (partnerships, alliances)
  • Ideally 3-5 years' experience in leading AWS partnership at a SaaS company
  • Deep understanding of AWS Partner Programs and ecosystem
  • A track record of success in selling enterprise business applications and sophisticated solutions
  • Methodical Go-To-Market Approach for building and scaling the AWS partnership
  • A strong communicator, presenter and negotiator with sound interpersonal skills
  • Focused self-starter with strong leadership skills who are able to multi-task, work independently or within a team.
  • Ability to travel as well as complete other projects and duties as assigned.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in selling AWS MPPO and CPPO at scale globally
  • Experience with the AWS ISV Accelerate program

The base salary at the time of hire for this position is expected to be between $148,000-$222,000. Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee's job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
