Basic Purpose This job is located at 2501 N. Lincoln Blvd., Ste. 207, Oklahoma City, OK. Application review is ongoing and the position will remain open until filled. Level Descriptor Registered Nurse - Nurse Investigator Level I or Level II Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities under the supervision of the Director of Investigative Division and/or Chief Nurse Investigator for: planning, coordinating and conducting investigations; monitoring compliance of licensed/certified individuals under Board Orders; and other assigned activities related to the regulation of nursing. This includes responsibility for coordinating and participating with other city, state and federal agencies as needed in activities related to the enforcement of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and other state and federal laws concerning nursing practice.Education And ExperienceAn unencumbered, current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license, bachelor’s degree in nursing required with a master’s degree preferred. Seven years of experience as a Registered Nurse which includes two years in a nursing service position within the last five years, or previous investigative experience. Management/supervision experience preferred. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is the minimum education requirement and applicants without a BSN will not be considered. Applicant must be detail oriented. Current Oklahoma driver’s license with some travel required.
