Job Description

As a Security Professional - Media Safety in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Our Security Officers are tasked with overseeing designated areas within the Tech/Media/Telecom location, contributing to a secure environment. You will conduct regular rounds, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, while engaging with individuals on-site to provide excellent customer service and clear communication. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we prioritize a caring culture that puts people first. This position does not require carrying a weapon, but familiarity with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• California Security Professional Guard Card required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
