About the role
The Chief of Staff acts as an advisor and a close aide to the CEO, playing a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and impact of the CEO's initiatives. The Chief of Staff will coordinate the execution of the CEO’s executive direction and primary initiatives, including playing a key role in supporting fundraising activities, as well as investor and internal communications. This position demands a strategic visionary with a proven track record in strategic corporate functions, exceptional communication skills, and a keen understanding of market dynamics. This role may evolve over time as the company scales.
What you’ll do
Gain a deep understanding of the company's business model, market, and overall strategic objectives. Familiarize yourself with the existing product portfolio, customer base, and internal processes.
Establish strong relationships and liaise with key internal stakeholders across the leadership team by helping them improve the overall functioning of the company and relieving their workload.
Provide hands-on support to transform ideas into reality and monitor their progress.
Demonstrate agility, responsiveness, and a drive for continuous improvement.
Support Alloy’s financial health and major business decisions by developing and performing a variety of analytical, planning, and forecast modeling.
Update pitch, customer, and partner decks with rapid turnaround, including both content and aesthetic storytelling
Create and manage data rooms for investor discussions and meetings
Update Investor and customer CRMs and track 70+ relationships
Represent the CEO’s goals and strategies in all aspects of business
Aid executives in scheduling, regular communications, and help around the office
Increase CXO bandwidth by assuming responsibility and optimizing some of their functions and activities. These may range from large-scale programs/projects, to administrative support such as coordinating travel and calendar management.
What you’ll bring
Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree such as an MBA or a master's degree in a relevant field, is preferred but not required
5-7 years experience in corporate development, business management, or a related field
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
Past work with venture capital investors and a deep understanding of startups
Strong financial modeling skills and a deep understanding of corporate finance
Nimble business mind and driven - focused on developing creative solutions
Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on cross-functional communication
Additional requirements
This position will require access to information subject to control under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).
