For more information, please visit www.alpha-sense.com.About the Team :The Business Development team at AlphaSense sits at the front line of our company’s prospect engagement and pipeline generation efforts.We qualify potential prospects, leverage diverse outreach strategies, engage in strategic conversations with stakeholders, and collaborate with Account Executives with the goal of expanding our footprint within net new accounts to generate revenue for the organization.About the Role :Business Development Representatives at AlphaSense are fundamental to the success and growth of our business. You will focus on driving new business by responding to potential prospects that show an interest in AlphaSense in a timely manner, establishing and building relationships with these executives or investment professionals over the phone, by email and through social outreach.The BDR role at AlphaSense will provide you with the foundational expertise you need to not only excel in the role today but our training and development program will help to propel your career into a quota-carrying sales role.Who You Are :• Passionate about sales : You possess the drive and ambition to succeed, whether you have sales experience or are transitioning from another career / industry.• A strong communicator : Your written, verbal and presentation skills need to be on point as you will be interacting with senior level executives from some of the largest companies in the world.• Organized : You’ll need to keep yourself focused and on task while helping our sales team close major deals.• Growth minded : We will provide you with training, tools and guidance necessary to succeed in a fast-paced environment;it’s up to you to apply that learning and grow with us.Goal-oriented : You will have specific KPIs by which we will measure your productivity on a consistent basis.What You’ll Do :• Conduct in-depth research on inbound leads and respond to them in a timely manner.• Engage with prospects to articulate our product’s value proposition.• Utilize discovery and objection handling strategies to speak knowledgeably with decision makers and to build and qualify interest in our offerings.• Partner closely with Account Executives to coordinate meetings, log activities in CRM, and proactively action feedback.• Demonstrate ability to consistently achieve or exceed program targets.Equal Opportunity Employer : AlphaSense is committed to a work environment that supports, inspires, and respects all individuals.We do not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of race, color, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, military or veteran status, disability, or any other non-merit factor.Base Compensation* : $60,000Additional Components : We offer a competitive benefits program, a generous commission plan with accelerators for over-performance, as well as equity.For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location.
