A leading designer and manufacturer of low-voltage electronics and power supplies seeks an inside sales and event coordinator who will be responsible for performing the below job functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.)
-Coordinate industry events which include regional and international tradeshows making sure personnel is registered, accommodations are reserved, and all product demos and giveaways are prepared.
-Follow up with event list leads and distribute contacts to our outside sales reps.
-Keep an organized filing system of all events and make sure event calendar is updated with all participating events.
-Assist marketing and inside/outside sales team, as well as regional sales representatives with any needs.
-Identify, develop, and evaluate event strategy, based on knowledge of company objectives, market characteristics, and cost factors. Also, monitor external affairs or events affecting business operations.
-Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing and advertising activities to promote products with the graphics department and sales managers.
-Answer customers', vendors, or out-side sales representative questions about products, prices, availability, marketing and advertising opportunities, etc. via email, phone, and in-person communication.
-Utilize systems or software to maintain customer records, customer database information, and create reports.
-Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products.
-Attention to Detail — Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
-Experience in event coordination a plus.
-Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
-Dependability — Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
-Ideal candidate should have various computer experience (Excel, Access, Word, Internet, Power Point, Sage software experience preferred, but not required.)
Schedule: In office exempt full-time position, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
We offer a full benefits package.
Salary: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the annual salary range for this position is $58,000-$63,000 per year commensurate with experience. Performance increases are also evaluated annually.
