This hire will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting world class software. Your software will operate in all facets of A&M GenAI; from internal tools that improve efficiencies to client facing enterprise systems that compete at the world level.How you'll contribute:• Consult with clients and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the problems• Lead teams of software professionals• Architect elegant solutions to some of the most challenging business problems• Design clean architecture with an emphasis on reusable components• Build efficient and explainable code• Test your work to a high standard• Review and approve others pull requests• Mentor junior developers• Contribute to all aspects of a project’s lifecycle: documenting requirements, solution development, system configuration, testing, debugging, and supportWho will you be working with?We are not a typical management consulting firm. Learn more about why A&M is a great place work.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus• 5 to 7 years of experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React, along with API integration and development within an Azure environment.• Experience with mocking tools such as InVision or Figma and designing user interfaces and experience• Natural problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset• Strong interest in technology and its application in business processes• Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly• Excellent communication and business writing skills• Strong organizational and time management abilitiesFull-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours:Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.
