Amazon Customer Advocate - 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

SUMMARY

The Amazon Customer Advocate provides administrative support to the Warehouse to assist with a variety of business operations on 2nd Shift.

HOURS: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide customer facing support to the distribution center

· Monitor employee call-in line

· Grant access at entry gates for pick-ups, deliveries, and visitors

· Assist with inbound truckloads

· Load CNE Skids for the small parcel shipping area each night

· Provide support to internal departments on transportation related questions or requests.

· Assist on projects delivering cost savings and efficiencies to the business.

· Assist Shipping Clerks with day to day operations

· Support Amazon operations

· Measure daily cubage for each carrier to estimate trailer volume for that day

· Process International Small Parcel Orders

· Create, manage, and deliver BOLs to carriers, customers, and facility’s security

· Request freight quotes from carriers

· Communicate with carriers for daily parcel, LTL, FTL, LCL, and FCL shipments as they are being loaded

· Coordinate with customer specific carriers for high valued customers

· Create and provide ASNs using customer specific web portals and software systems

· Arrange carrier pick up through carrier specific web portals

· Provide tracking and paperwork requests to customers

· Resolve customer complaints and assigned action items

· Be a process expert to provide additional support and guidance to production teammates

· Manage reports for orders that have been processed but not invoiced

· Assist with process documentation

· The teammate will also perform other duties, as assigned.
