Working at Amcor means you will have a unique opportunity to be a part of an organisation that is committed to providing sustainable packaging solutions.To find out more about our commitment to sustainability and about Amcor, visit www.amcor.com.Job DescriptionImplements strategy, business and marketing plans for assigned accounts including market research, competitive intelligence, product positioning, product line evolution and product innovation.This role is focused on growth of assigned account through share of wallet and developing and executing a long-term strategy.What You Get To Do• Deliver strategic and sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned accounts• Responsible for development and execution of strategic and robust account plans• Increase business with existing accounts through networking• Create and execute strategy to maintain and grow the assigned account• Possess a detailed knowledge of Amcor, our products, the industry and competitive market, enabling the business to solidify itself as an industry leader and fulfil Amcor’s Winning Aspiration to be the leading global packaging company• Manage the complexities of account(s) in support of customer needs• Build relationships with customers based upon trust and respect• Orchestrate and lead key business negotiations, supporting Amcor’s interests demonstrating an ability to influence decision and actions• Report and communicate current performance achievements in terms of sales and marketing contribution to the business unit for monthly management reporting• Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results• Manages accounts receivable as acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department• Work with Strategic Marketing to identify, analyze and recommend actions to meet strategic unmet customer needs• Build highly collaborative relationships between Amcor and your account / s to include : senior leadership, procurement, engineering, quality, operations, sales management, support teams, key Amcor global contacts etc.with a view of enhancing sales initiatives and profitably while meeting customer needs• Responsible for the management of Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM tool• Coordinates Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service in support of validation trials and customer trials• Communicates competitive developments in his / her account base regarding marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and communicates intelligence to management through the Monthly Report system• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities, promoting an environment where each employee makes safety their first priority• Demonstrate Amcor’s values Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Social Responsibility, and InnovationWhat We Value• Leading Self : drive for results• Leading Teams : influencing others (negotiating), interpersonal savvy• Leading the Business : creativity, customer focus• Operational ExcellenceWhat We Want From You• Education Bachelor’s degree• Experience relevant experience in technical, sales and general management preferably within the packaging industry• 3+ years’ experience• Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability• Experience with negotiations; strong influencing and persuasion skillsOur ExpectationsWe Expect Our People To Be Guided By The Amcor Way And Demonstrate Our Values Every Day To Enable The Business To Win.
