Looking to hire a Drug & Alcohol Counselors in Lancaster, PA. As the Drug & Alcohol Counselor you will work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health. You may also help individuals deal with issues associated with additions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; self-esteem; and aging. If you have a Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field which includes a practicum in a drug and alcohol setting; or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field and 1 year of clinical experience (a minimum of 1,820 hours) in a drug and alcohol setting; let's talk!!
3 different work schedules available:
1. Monday -Friday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
2. Tuesday-Saturday:7:00 am to 3:30 pm
3. Sunday to Thursday: 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Your day will involve using your extensive knowledge of ASAM criteria while maintaining excellent organizational skills, handling paperwork, and providing fantastic customer care. To succeed, you'll need to be a self-starter and a team player, thriving in our collaborative environment. We also require a few clearances, including PA Child Abuse Clearance and a CADC certification is preferred.
