Position Description JOB SUMMARY The National Navigation Roundtable is a coalition of more than 80 public, private, or voluntary organizational members. The NNRT is focused on advancing patient navigation efforts that eliminate barriers to quality care, reduce disparities in health outcomes and foster ongoing health equity across the cancer continuum. Reporting to the NNRT Director, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work with the NNRT membership to coordinate the activities of a thought leading national coalition along with supporting efforts related to the NNRT's Five Year Aim. This position is responsible for managing day to day workings, projects, and initiatives of the NNRT, from project concept development to implementation and evaluation. Responsibilities also include creating, supporting, and maintaining high level collaborative partnerships with external partners as well as with ACS national and regional staff to accomplish deliverables. The program manager will also coordinate team work on contracts, website content and maintenance, and managing special programs, meetings, and conferences. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Working with the NNRT Director, facilitates and coordinates the work of multiple projects to implement the NNRT mission. Includes assisting with planning, tracking, evaluation, communication, and reporting on NNRT activities. Provides input and support in the planning and execution of NNRT in-person and virtual events, including speaker recruitment, content development, promotion, and technical support. Assists with the operationalization of major and/or annual NNRT programs and general project management. Assumes active role in building better coordination between NNRT activities and relationships with ACS colleagues, departments, and regions. Facilitates scheduling and organization of Task Group meetings via calls, webinars and in-person events, takes notes, distributes information, and provides overall support to the director and NNRT membership. Actively participates in meetings and conference calls with high level volunteers (executive leaders, decision makers, clinicians, researchers, etc.). Assists NNRT Director in the management of contractual vendor relationships and related budgets and deliverables, including the development and execution of request for proposals (RFPs), contract scope, budgets, and deliverables, Leads the team in integrating and institutionalizing digital tools to assist in project development, implementation, and evaluation (SharePoint, Monday.com, Microsoft Suite, Zoom, etc.) Creates and updates website and social content as directed. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the NNRT Director. Position Requirements FORMAL KNOWLEDGE MS, MA, MPH, MPA degree preferred or BS, BA degree with project management experience in public health acceptable. Minimum 4 years' experience in program management and/or project leadership. Experience preferred working with coalitions and/or high-level volunteers. Experience with patient navigation preferred. OTHER SKILLS Motivated, self-starter with leadership skills who works well independently. Comfortable working with accomplished professionals and high-level national volunteers. Ability to coordinate and work in partnership with volunteers around public awareness, physician/health provider education, and colorectal cancer screening related issues. Strong writer; solid presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in coalitions and in high-level collaborations. Demonstrated success in meeting and conference call facilitation. Demonstrated success in utilizing digital solutions for project management. Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative mindset. Creative, outside of the box thinking welcomed. Experience with coordinating and facilitating both in-person and interactive online meetings using a variety of digital solutions. Desire to be an active virtual team member. Commitment to and ability to advocate for the Mission and Goals of the American Cancer Society. SPECIAL MENTAL OR PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to travel (10 to 20%). Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to effectively deal with multiple individuals simultaneously. Must be able to pay attention to details while simultaneously keep focus on long-term goals. The compensation range established for this position begins at a minimum of $XX per XXX. Actual starting pay may differ based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. The American Cancer Society has adopted a vaccination policy that requires all staff, regardless of position or work location, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (except where prohibited by state law).Salary Range:$80K -- $100KMinimum QualificationProgram ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
