Develop and design visually appealing and engaging digital experiences for American Electric Power (AEP). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, user needs, and design requirements. Utilize design software and tools to create high-quality digital assets, including web and mobile interfaces, graphics, and animations. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve the user experience. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in interactive design and user experience. Translate complex ideas and concepts into clear, easy-to-understand visual representations. Work closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately. Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all digital platforms. Continually evaluate and improve the user experience of AEP's digital presence. Maintain and update design standards and guidelines for AEP's digital properties. Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to stakeholders. Act as a brand ambassador for AEP, ensuring all designs align with the company's brand identity and guidelines. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, as needed. Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
