And we’ll do it with the utmost integrity, and in an environment where everyone is seen, heard and feels like they belong.Join Team Amex and let's lead the way together.The Intercompany Agreement Center of Excellence (ICA COE) Analyst is a colleague of the American Express National Bank (AENB) and will be responsible for leading contract lifecycle activities for Enterprise-wide Intercompany Service Agreements (ICAs) and associated governance processes as it relates to Transfer Pricing, and Outsourcing requirements. As an enterprise-wide program, an in-depth knowledge of American Express legal entities, products, organizations, and processes will be required to effectively collaborate with key partners required to execute agreement requests. Prior experience interpreting global regulations and guidelines will be beneficial to effectively define what winning looks like country by country, as it relates to the Intercompany Agreement process. Effective communication and thought leadership will be required to collaborate with global colleagues in multiple capacities, including but not limited to, GCO, Tax, Transfer Pricing, Finance, Outsourcing Governance, and various business units.How will you make an impact in this role?Key Responsibilities Of This Role Will IncludeContract Lifecycle Management:• Oversees the end-to-end contract lifecycle management and approval process for new/restated agreement requests facilitated by the ICA COE, including reviewing agreement requests, identifying appropriate agreement templates, drafting agreements, monitoring status through the negotiation stage, ensuring completion of necessary approvals during the parallel approval stage, and gathering eSignatures for execution.• Engages relevant stakeholders in contracting decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards, coordinates approval process and sign off.• Ensures that each contract record, supporting documents and contract metadata are properly entered into the Contract Management System.• Supports completion of IIQ/Service Now requests.• Where applicable, supports the product roadmap of the Intercompany Contract Management System (CMS) through requirements gathering, user acceptance testing and implementation.• Maintains and promotes the Blue Box Values by ensuring that work is completed to the highest professional, legal, and regulatory standards, and that the activities subject to approval comply with the Company's stated business ethics.Projects/Other:• Supports ICA COE roadmap initiatives, process improvements, agreement PMO projects, and Company-wide intercompany strategic priorities.• Maintains updates to the ICA COE Square site, expanding awareness of the ICA COE program across the Enterprise while improving user experience.• Strong project management experience.• Proven ability to deliver results.MIS/Reporting:• Supports agreement reporting requests received across the Enterprise. including requests received from various business units and from the Internal Audit Group (IAG).• Conducts monthly imports of glossary and account files, in accordance with the information security policy (IS09).• Supports the development and management of key metrics associated to strategic priorities and/or PMO projects, as required by leadership.Internal Customer Focus:• Maintains strong working relationships with Enterprise-wide stakeholders.• Customer focused with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing needs.• Proven collaboration skills along with the ability to influence without authority.• Supports end-users by conducting ICA COE overviews, system demonstrations, and troubleshooting within the Contract Management System (CMS) and DocuSign.Communication:• Develops and maintains a clear communication strategy to engage and inform business partners.• Develops procedure and presentation materials to support key processes and initiatives.Qualifications:• Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting/ Finance, Legal, or Risk Management. Graduate degree in relevant field is a plus.• Previous experience in a global contract management or intercompany accounting role is preferred.• Previous experience with program or process oversight, management and improvement is preferred.• Previous experience in product management and technical requirements preferred.• Previous experience working with a third party is a plus.• Proven to effectively negotiate solutions with internal stakeholders with competing needs.• Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions.• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, strategic thought leadership, and ability to anticipate needs.• Proven to have a global mindset; able to work well across time zones and cultures.• Demonstrated ability to function as a member of a global team.• Proficiency with office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePointSalary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
