As a middleware engineer, the individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end components (REST APIs etc.) of our data products and support data ingestion flows. You will deliver solutions that will service major functions within the Technology Risk & Information Security organization.Key Responsibilities:• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality as well as backend data engineering pipelines.• Collaborate with the development team to define and implement CI/CD pipelines.• Utilize Git for version control and collaborate on code reviews.• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred.• At least 2+ years of Software Development experience in a professional environment with a background in Information Security.• Strong experience with Python (e.g., Django, Flask).• Experience with relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres. Also have working knowledge of document stores such as Elasticsearch.• Experience with Git and version control workflows.• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions etc.).• Experience in developing RESTful APIs.• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).• Strong problem-solving, debugging and testing skills for enterprise grade software solutions.• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits.The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
