It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.The Membership Services Technology organization is part of USCDT team and delivers the technologies needed to power these experiences enjoyed by our card members. We are tasked with designing, building and integrating the appropriate technical, architectural and business solutions for all online/web products enterprise-wide applications for Membership Services products within American Express.The position will be within Resy, a division under the Membership Services Technology organization. Resy is the American Express global dining platform. Our mission is to power the world’s best restaurants, using technology to imagine the future of hospitality. We serve 6,000 restaurants globally.ABOUT THE ROLE :The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the VP/Chief Information Officer, and the VP-Engineering, based in the Resy office in New York. The ideal candidate must be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative tasks and be able to work collaboratively and confidently. Enthusiasm in learning about the team’s work and interest in participating in team projects a plus.Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Organizing and proactively maintaining calendars, including scheduling meetings across multiple time-zonesCoordinating with the Resy Manager Assistant and the rest of the Executive Assistant team to support team collaboration and culture developmentCoordinating conferences and staff meetings, including room booking, catering, security etc.Coordinating travel arrangements and logisticsProcessing monthly expense reports and reviewing expense reports for approvalAssisting with on and off boarding and new employee logisticsTracking and approving timekeeping for teamSupporting ad hoc project work as directed by leadershipMinimum QualificationsHigh level of integrity required for handling sensitive and confidential informationHigh energy, proactive, positive attitude, and ability to prioritize and work on own initiative.Strong interpersonal, relationship and networking skills to build and maintain effective professional relationships across all areas of the organizationPrevious executive administrative support experience within a large organizationExperience in handling a wide range of administrative-related tasks, organizing large meetings across time zones and arranging travelHighly organized with an ability to demonstrate keen attention to details, adaptability, flexibility, resourcefulness and efficiencyDemonstrated ability to act diplomatically and respectfully when communicating with key internal and external customers and individuals of varying levelsDemonstrated ability to take the initiative to spot problems before they arise, find solutions, and provide timely follow-through on projectsDemonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency, as needed to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyStrong proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook requiredExperience with Ariba, Concur and HR payroll systems preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCommitment to ongoing learning and developmentBachelor's degree preferredSalary Range: $24.05 to $48.10 hourly + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected hourly pay range for this job requisition.
