How will you make an impact in this role?
As American Express continues along an impressive growth trajectory, the Company will ascend the ranks of the Federal Reserve’s bank categorization and be subject to heightened requirements in the liquidity, capital, regulatory reporting, and risk domains. American Express is pursuing Project Fast Forward to uplift capabilities to deliver on these new requirements. A Program Management Office (PMO) has been established to oversee this multi-year transformation initiative that is critical to American Express’ continued success. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to help lead this strategic transformation.
The Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all phases of a project workstream, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within scope, and with the right governance. The role will require collaborating closely with members of the PMO team to drive key outcomes across global business partners, including senior leaders. This is a high-impact position that requires a hands-on approach to interacting with and influencing cross functional teams. The Manager will need to be dynamic, adaptable, and demonstrate ability to draw connections while leveraging prior experiences to make a positive impact on the project. Additionally, Manager will have the opportunity to build subject matter skills and support select project deliverables in partnership with business teams. The breadth of the project will also provide opportunity to build a strong network across Finance and beyond.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
