We provide strategic consultation to the business and provide end to end procurement services. We increase the purchasing power of the Company to drive the best value from our supplier base which then frees up investment capacity for the Blue Box. GSM together with our business partners leads the supplier strategy for the Company, identifying and on-boarding new suppliers, realizing significant cost saves and revenue generation relating to working with GCS and GMS to increase billings and merchant coverage and ensuring an efficient user experience for AMEX colleagues and suppliers.How will you make an impact in this role?The Procurement Source to Contract Analyst implements effective negotiation plans for agreements of varying complexity in alignment with Strategic Sourcing and Category Management team and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders, delivering maximum value to the business through the contracting process. The role is expected to drive value and mitigate risk, while supporting our customers with speed to market. The role will also be responsible for ad hoc activities that may include spend analysis, reporting, benchmarking, cost benefit analysis and value measurement.This role is expected to discover, understand, and apply best in class source to contract insights and experience in the pursuit of driving supply opportunities at competitive cost and high quality. This role is responsible for building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with the business, across peer groups, contact stakeholders including General Counsel, Third Party Lifecycle Management, Tax, Compliance, Insurance, in multiple markets.• Execute effective negotiation plans for agreements of varying complexity in alignment with Strategic Sourcing and Category Management team and other SMEs and stakeholders• Own end to end source to contract and approval process, in collaboration with Sourcing and Contract Managers; identifying and aligning on the most effective strategy to meet objectives• Lead contracting process to include template selection, drafting, negotiating, and implementing agreements• Review and lead the redlining of contracts of varying complexity, engaging InfoSec, GCO and business stakeholders throughout the process• Engage relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards, coordinate approval process and sign off through to compliant contract execution• Perform contract analysis to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities• Bring external insights, innovative ideas, and an enterprise view on market trends, competitive landscape value generation and strategic sourcing opportunities• Seek opportunities to increase value for the business, whether through cost saves, contractual terms that drive value, process efficiencies, speed to market, risk mitigation, or other innovative means to drive competitive value for Amex• Develop Cost Benefit Analysis and support the value measurement process through cost save validation• Ensure contracts and supporting documents are properly entered and maintained per policy• Develop an extensive knowledge of various contract types, and their applicable use case• Provide timely and accurate status updates to internal and external stakeholders• Maintain and promote the Blue Box Values by ensuring that work is completed to the highest professional, legal, and regulatory standardsMinimum Qualifications• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience is required• Understanding of procurement, contracting, and sourcing functions• Strong project management experience managing complex projects from ideation through execution• Ability to effectively manage multiple business priorities in a fast-paced environment• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required• Experience conducting research, analysis, benchmarking, and financial modeling• Effectively work on a cross functional global team, demonstrating a collaborative demeanor• Strong relationship management, written and verbal communication, and organization skills are a must• A passion for solving business challenges, improving the Customer experience, and driving results• A positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to adopt changePreferred Qualifications• Preference for experience with Ariba, Conga and Service Now• B.S. or B.A. is strongly preferredSalary Range: $70,100.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
