Responsible for increasing awareness and participation through marketing plans aligned with audiences through print design and production, direct mail, e-mail, advertising, web content, on-site signage, and promotional programming. Also, responsible for conducting market research and trend analysis to provide decision making analytics.• Develop and direct marketing for assigned programs. Increase participation and engagement in Association programs.Collaborate with department to establish and create marketing plan including working with agency or vendor to meet marketing needs.• Develop, plan and execute focused marketing campaigns for specific alliances, population segments, and specialties of care, including content marketing, web, social media, and science translation into layman terminology• Manage revenue and budget for established portfolio while identifying potential cost savings and revenue gains. Provide budget projections, invoices, and contracts for each budget.• Conduct market research and develop surveys to study response to marketing activities. Develop and distribute reports for current and future year planning based on results. Research best practices, competitors, as well as targeted audience growth.• Oversee marketing activities specific to conferences, design projects, or programming specialties. Manage project timelines, deadline compliance and effective communication and dissemination.• Establish trusted communication with senior level volunteers and anticipate needs and expectations. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Foster alliances with cross functional teams internally and externally, in both the domestic market and internationally.• Bachelor's Degree or related work experience• Three (3) years of the following experience:• Experience developing and managing marketing, promotions, communications or related projects or campaigns• Experience developing and implementing campaign plan, budgets, and outcome analysis• Excels in directing work and meeting deadlines• Demonstrated ability in design and delivery of print, internet, and mobile marketing• Excels in preparing written, audio and video communicationsThe American Heart Association invests in its people.
