Work from the comfort of your home, a local coffee shop, or wherever in the U.S. brings you joy! Please note that you MUST live in one of the following states to be considered for this temporary role:• Alabama, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin• This role is a temporary (maximum 30 hours per week) to a permanent position after ninety days. After that milestone, you will become eligible for our benefits listed below. We want you to get experience in our systems and be confident in the role before determining if this fits you (and us).• The salary range for this position is $50 - $60 per hour based on experience.• Only applicants who apply online will be considered in this process. In this role, you’ll be critical as a stakeholder in shaping the future of AMA’s marketing operations and performance.Our marketing team is responsible for not only amplifying our impact but also helping us expand our reach. This role is pivotal in the evolution of AMA as it grows its community, members, and product offerings.What You’ll Be DoingPerformance Marketing• Develop and lead strategic plans for customer acquisition and retention.• Responsible for short-term and long-term demand generation forecasts, budgets, and campaign KPIs.• Oversee the operation of marketing channels (search, digital, social, email), and provide a point of view around expansion into supplemental channels to fuel growth• Analyze data and campaign performance to track KPIs, identify trends, and optimize ROI.• Manage and mentor a team of two channel marketers (email and social), providing guidance, direction, and accountability to ensure successful day-to-day operation and campaign execution.• Provide expert guidance and leadership in the context of performance marketing.Marketing Operations• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including membership, events, learning, and alliances (sales) to ensure cohesive, effective, and efficient marketing tactics to deliver value and results for AMA’s customers and clients.• Responsible for marketing tech stack usage and operation efficiencies and optimization.Business Growth• Charged with unlocking significant growth opportunities across the business portfolio by optimizing current channels and expanding into new ones.• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in performanceWhat You Bring To The Table• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience• 3-5 years of relevant experience and knowledge/usage of HubSpot, Meta/Google/LinkedIn business manager, Google Analytics• 2-4 years managing email and social channels• Leader-doer with experience in managing a team while simultaneously acting as an individual contributor.What You May Also Have• Proven track record in unlocking new performance marketing opportunities in a high-growth environment.• 2-4+ years as a paid digital manager either in-house or agency• Hands-on experience with performance marketing tactics and channels including Meta, Google, podcasts, and more.• Experience efficiently forecasting, managing, and optimizing marketing budgets to improve return on ad spend, increase customer acquisition volume, and improve lifetime value• Excellent quantitative & analytical skills to show the impact of work and bring insights to improve performance• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence all levels of the organization• Well-versed in and able to stay on top of current evolving media trends, technology, and opportunities to bring innovations to lifeWhat To Expect From The Interview Process• Hiring manager resume review• One-way video interview on our video interview platform, Spark Hire (we promise this isn’t scary!
