Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Quality Assurance / Test Specialist with a Secret clearance or higher to join our Naval Surface Warfare Center Team!This job posting is for upcoming opportunities with AMERICAN SYSTEMS*As a Quality Assurance / Test Specialist, you will :• Act as the overall Quality Assurance and Test and Evaluation (T&E) lead by performing technical and administrative management of inspection and testing on multiple projects• Receive a robust benefits package that includes our ! (ESOP).• Enjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a single accrual leave plan.A week in the life of a Quality Assurance / Test Specialist :• Analyze requirements to define test methods that support evaluation of project suitability and effectiveness.• Coordinate project test planning with Government activities to minimize program schedule impact.• Conduct testing in accordance with Government policies and procedures.• Generate report documentation that provides the Government with required information to assess project development status.• Maintain access to and proficiency with Government / Contractor enterprise applications required for testing and / or function as data repositories.• Ensure our QMS (ISO 2700 : 2013 Quality Management System) is applied to all our test plan development and performance requirements.• Participate in all planning and review meetings to include, Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).Job Requirements• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance• Five (5) years’ experience in Defense acquisition and / or system test and evaluation• BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related scientific or technical discipline• Experience in coordinating test & evaluation of developmental and demonstration programs in a Defense organization with rapid acquisitionFounded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. The salary / hourly range for this position is $80,000-$100,000.Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
