Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field Preferred• Manufacturing Scheduling/Planning, MRP system experience or an equivalent combination of work-related experience• Strong analytical capabilities and able to organize large data sets, analyze trends and make recommendations.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment and demonstrated success deploying lean methodologies to improve production efficiency.• Experience scheduling and/or planning in a high volume / high mix manufacturing operation is desire.• Outstanding leadership skills and good strategic thinking.• Effective time & prioritization management.• Strong interpersonal skills.• Excellent problem-solving skills• Successful at adapting to and managing change.• Familiarity with ISO Quality Assurance programs.• Familiarity with Aerospace AS9100 requirements desiredResponsibilities• Planner must understand manufacturing capacity and allocate as required to meet build plan commitments.• Expedites and reschedules open purchase orders to suit production-planning requirement.• Create and release manufacturing orders based on bill-of-materials and configuration.• Track material shortages for manufacturing orders, kits, sub-assemblies based on bill-of-material or drawings/configuration.• Communicate to team and management critical part shortages that will jeopardize ship schedule.• Prepares purchase requests for the purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirement
