Product Researcher & Development

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Research and Development (R&D) team to join our growing Product team. In this role, you will play a significant part in developing Amoda products that can be effectively implemented by the production team.

By working closely with the Product team and field teams, you will ensure that the research and development conducted is relevant, accurate, and aligned with the company's vision and goals. Your contributions will be a key factor in driving innovation and the success of the products we create.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on materials, technology, and construction methods to improve production efficiency.
• Develop and test product prototypes before implementation in production.
• Identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement in products under development.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of materials, designs, and production methods based on data and testing.
• Provide technical recommendations to the operations and engineering teams regarding product development results.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material testing and procurement of new raw materials.
• Develop work standards, procedures, and technical specifications that can be widely implemented.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation related to research results, testing, and product evaluations.
• Create innovative solutions to optimize production processes and product quality.

Experience and Technical Expertise

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry; a degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, specifically in research and product development within the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Able to develop and test new materials, methods, and technologies to enhance production efficiency.
• Proficient in R&D-related software, such as CAD, BIM, or engineering simulation software.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Capable of identifying technical issues and finding innovative solutions.
• Strong data analysis skills to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and materials being developed.

Collaboration and Communication

• Able to work closely with the product team, production team, and field team to ensure optimal product implementation.
• Strong communication skills in presenting ideas, research findings, and technical recommendations.

Project and Timeline Management

• Skilled in developing an R&D timeline that aligns with company targets.
• Efficient in managing research projects from concept to implementation.
