Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager, Developer Relations  to  join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of AI, data science and machine learning.  You will act as a liaison between a company and the developer community. Their primary role is to build and nurture relationships with developers, usually through various channels such as social media, developer forums, conferences, and meetups.

What You’ll Do:

• GTM: Create a GTM strategy geared towards our developers community including positioning and accompanying marketing communication plan
• Messaging: Create messaging and storyline for engaging and informative content such as blogs, tutorials, workshops, and videos around Anaconda’s suite of dev tools.
• Evangelism: Identify and secure high-impact speaking opportunities at virtual and on-site industry events (10+ events per year) to promote Anaconda tools and engage with the developer community.
• Community Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships within the developer community, acting as a bridge between developers and Anaconda.
• Product/UX Liaison: work closely with internal teams to surface insights from the community to increase user satisfaction and adoption.
• Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, product marketing, marketing, product development, and customer-facing team as the voice of the community.
• Management: lead and collaborate with our sr. open source community manager on the communication strategy for the digital communitie

What You Need:

• 3+ years experience working in a developer relations or partner support team 
• Strong hands-on developer who is comfortable with Python development
• Current understanding of best practices in software engineering, tooling, testing, and documentation 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and are comfortable with public speaking 
• Enjoy engaging with technical audiences online and in person, and helping developers build compelling high quality applications and integrations 
• Empathize strongly with technical audiences, and can articulate their needs to a product team
• Intellectually curious, with great problem-solving skills
