Position Description
This is a remote, home-based position. Candidates from all US geographies will be considered.
JOB SUMMARY
The People Operations team is responsible for providing frontline support to team members and people leaders through the People Team service delivery model. The team continually analyzes regular processes and data to bring solutions forward to enhance the team member experience. The Analyst, People Operations role will serve as an important member of the People Operations team by providing day-to-day assistance and support to team members related to and throughout the team member lifecycle.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume responsibility for the service delivery of Tier 1 support by providing team members with consistent and timely guidance, support, responses/explanations covering a variety of topics across People Team functions. Leverage knowledge base and other available information to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Evaluate and process team member lifecycle events in HRIS system. Audit events to identify discrepancies and to provide corrected information.
- Unemployment Insurance administration, including initial response to state claims and requests for information. Provides quarterly claim/activity reporting.
- Worker’s Compensation administration, including initial report of incidents and coordinating claims with the insurance carrier.
- Process requests for employment verifications. Redirect requests to vendor and/or provide verbal and written employment verifications. Complete public service loan forgiveness forms.
- Ensure personnel files conform to organizational data confidentiality and retention guidelines.
- Participate in special projects engaged in the establishment and implementation of new processes for the People Team.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or 1-3 years of HR generalist/coordinator experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources, as well as of local, state and federal employment laws
- Human Resources professional certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow and Workday preferred.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and demonstrated success working as an HR representative.
- Strong records and database management skills.
- Able to gather and analyze statistical data from multiple database sources and generate reports.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and administer complex administrative systems and processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and procedures and deliver difficult messages professionally and in a manner aligned with policy and standard procedure.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, decision-making, problem solving, project management, and customer service skills.
- Consistent ability to set and deliver against a work plan in a fast-paced environment, giving attention to detail even under high pressure situations.
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues; able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to build relationships, foster a cooperative work environment, and build consensus with remote / geographically dispersed staff.

The starting rate is $50,000 - $55,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
