Meaningful Work From Day One:
This position is responsible for the functional design and implementation of system integration solutions as part of various project teams to enable secured and efficient data exchange. Operating in a highly collaborative team oriented environment, this person will work under general supervision and direction from Team Leads and Project Managers, and will work with members from various levels of company personnel in IT and business areas. This individual will also work closely with external mapping partners, outside trading partners, banks and customers, as well as consultants in the course of their work.
What You Can Expect:
  • Responsible for SAP system integrations with our EDI managed service providers and will work with tools such as Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), Boomi, to establish secure communications with our trading partners, design integration mapping specifications, test data exchange, migration to production and change management, as well as triage day to day problems.
  • Participate in the planning, analysis, design, testing and quality assurance of EDI integrations, applying project management methodologies as prescribed by company IT guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance to standards for programming, testing and quality assurance.
  • Migration of solutions from the test environment to production, and be a key
participant in the cut over to go-live process.
  • Serve as contact for functional application help issues from the user community and act as a process owner for EDI-related processes in various SAP domains (ex: OTC, P2P, IM, government invoicing/tax reporting, etc.).
  • Investigate and solve problems by documenting solutions and transferring key learnings to appropriate users.
What You Bring To The Table:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field.
  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience in IT applications.
  • 2 or more years of prior SAP ERP experience in OTC / Sales and Distribution.
  • Knowledge of EDI standards, translations, communication protocols, and interfaces.
  • Solid experience in creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting data Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) connections between company systems and trading partners such as banks and customers.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages for scripting.
  • Ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes (e.g. functionally and as implemented in SAP) and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g. SAP capability, industry best practice) in order to produce an optimal business solution.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in multiple enterprise-wide level projects with high degree of complexity.
