Responsibilities:
The role of this position is to contribute/run the Demand planning processes as well as monitoring order-to-cash process for attributed portfolio. The Demand planning is about ensuring full visibility of future demand, sales forecast & opportunities (including tenders), via the use of specific tool/meeting (e.g. Rapid Response or Central Demand Review). The position is also to ensure that all products required by customers are available with the right level of inventory in order to achieve business targets of marketing, sales, finance and operations. Ensure good and smooth coordination between the department and all internal and external customers.
Demand Planning
Understand and keep current track on changes of all products in the marketplace, focusing on:
Brand management
Marketing strategies
Life cycle management
Manage day-to-day use of System Forecast tool Generate statistical forecast. Encourage the M&S to update and maintain the country forecast with monthly detail.
Central Demand Review
Sanity check of forecast before transmission into Supply Planning tools
Alert Supply Planning colleagues of any major changes
Review of Forecast performance/trend
Document reviews and develop escalation point for Global S&OP
Customer Service
Communication and products requirement alignment with supply chain actors, sales orders management, participation to the new product launch activities
Review sales planning per customer to adjust sales forecast when needed
Ensure that delivery, transportation and distribution occur properly and timely with the right shipping documentation, whilst optimizing costs
Central point of contact for quality issues and plan of action for recall, quality investigation, traceability inquiry, repack and other pharmaceutical operations
Requirements:
University degree Logistics/Supply chain or equivalent education in Business administration
At least 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or Supply Chain
Understanding of Demand Planning and Marketing in Pharmaceutical business or Supply Chain
Familiar with Sales Forecasting Applications
Knowledge of import/export/logistic/distribution and customer service
Experience in ERP (Oracle, SAP or other) is required
Experience with Access & SQL is a plus
Experience with Power BI is a plus
Excel technical knowledge and skill is required
Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and organization skills required
