Anders Group is currently looking for an organized, methodical communicator to join our growing Human Resources team. Our Benefits Specialis twill spearhead insurance and worker’s compensation for all corporate and external employees.

What the Benefits Specialist does every day:
Organize and track internal and external candidates added and removed from insurance plans (changes weekly)
Reaching out to candidates, claim representatives and internal employees as needed
Facilitate the workers’ compensation process for all employees, follow up accordingly and answer questions
Complete employment and salary verifications as requested
Working on various projects that will incorporate all facets of Human Resources

Job Responsibilities - Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
- Guide Anders Group employees through benefit selection and enrollment process
- Maintain up to date records of each employee’s start date, end date etc.
- Respond immediately to benefits inquiries from employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
- Utilize ADP and provider sites for insurance benefits administration including medical, dental, vision, Telemed etc.
- Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly audits as needed
- Process and assist benefits for employees working in Hawaii through HMSA as needed
- Manually upload weekly HSA contributions
- Monitor, coordinate and process Workers Compensation through our insurance company claims for internal and external employees
- Receive and review claim forms for Company’s third-party administrator
- Collect, organize and submit all additional benefit and Workers Compensation documents
- Serve as a liaison between injured employees, internal points of contact and document final decisions
- Complete employment and salary verifications
- Assist on projects as requested from leadership
Desired Skills and Experience - Benefit Administration experience preferred
- Payroll System experience required, ADP WFN experience preferred
- Associate degree required. Bachelor’s preferred in Human Resources.
- CP-SHRM, PHR or any relatable certification preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Tech Savvy and desire to learn new technological tools
- Detailed oriented and able to shift focus as needed
- Take initiative to see areas of improvement
