Propulsion Performance Engineer

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Propulsion Performance Engineer to enhance their Propulsion Development team, focused on creating advanced propulsion systems.

Skills

Modeling/simulation of gas turbine engine performance
Code development for simulation
Knowledge of performance diagnostic instruments
Aerodynamics and thermodynamics expertise
Exposure to gas turbine engine testing

Responsibilities

Own the performance modeling and acceptance criteria of gas turbine engines
Create and maintain engine performance decks for internal and external customers
Mentor less experienced engineers on the development of gas turbine engines
Assist in research and development regarding design of aircraft engines
Review test data for performance compliance and model fidelity
Lead projects to improve performance of gas turbine engines
Support test campaigns with up to 20% travel

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
