De Beers Group has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join the Finance Team at the Calgary Support Centre on a full-time basis for 24 months. This position is based at the De Beers Calgary Support Centre located at the Calgary International Airport. The schedule is currently a hybrid style consisting of two days in the office and three days at home.
De Beers Group faces increasing change in the upstream environment of its assets in Canada and South Africa. To address these changes it is critical for the upstream operations to prioritise major projects, drive efficiencies, streamline for the long term and creation of sustainable value for all our stakeholders as part of the Origins Strategy. This also entails continuous emphasis on achieving zero harm, a reduced and challenging operational footprint, execution of mine closure and rehabilitation activities, management of stakeholder expectations and on-going macroeconomic challenges. This while the future of mining is being reshaped by external factors together with continuous innovation in technology, automation and digitalization. These trends underpin the importance of value and major capital investments that will differentiate the future of De Beers Group.

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a standardised and optimised systems approach to the cyclical and regular operational and consolidated operational budgets, commercial and investment decisions, financial reporting and tax submissions for the Managed Operations business and Gahcho Kue Mine Joint Venture partners.
