Animation Production Intern

Rooster Teeth Animation Studio is looking for a DEATH BATTLE Production Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for project management in the animation industry and is eager to learn about all aspects of coordinating an animation production.

In your time as a DEATH BATTLE Production intern, you will learn how an animation pipeline operates by directly assisting our Line Producer and supervising producer on DEATH BATTLE.

While we are currently working from home, we would love the opportunity to get you into the studio to work side-by-side with our team, so being local to Austin is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside production leads on DEATH BATTLE
• Assist line producer and supervising producer with various tasks, including file archiving, note taking and documentation, implementing data into production schedules and tools, and communicating with team leads
• Take concise notes during production syncs to provide team members insight into discussions and communicate project needs
• Be open to the fast-pace nature of the animation pipeline by jumping into different tasks as they are assigned

Qualifications

• A passion in production management, coordination, and animation
• Pursuing a career in production management or coordination
• Must have a good internet connection (living in Austin, Texas is a plus)
• An interest in learning
• A motivated self-starter and go-getter, ready to ask for another task once one is complete
• Working knowledge of Google Drive and file management
• Great communication skills, especially in an online environment
• Be highly collaborative and a team supporter
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of ShotGrid is a plus

This position must be based in California, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Texas (preferred), Virginia, or Washington State.
