An HR generalist is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills. You will have excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an organized, results driven, self-starter with high attention to detail and sense of urgency. To ensure success, HR generalists should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and training. Top candidates will be comfortable managing grey areas and meeting with senior leadership.The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing HR support and service in several areas including performance and development, associate guidance on HR policy and program administration, and HR reporting & analysis.The impact you can have• Manage employee life cycle including New Hire Onboarding, conducting Welcome orientation, managing associates changes within Workday, HR reporting, maintain organizational charts and offboarding associates.• Serve as liaison to Talent Acquisition - provide timely and complete job requisition information and updated job descriptions and work with Talent Acquisition and clients to execute all details Impact 3• Organize, support, and assist with managing and executing various HR programs and events (Performance and Development, Talent Assessment, Engagement activities, Summer Internship Program, etc.).• Intake and address associate questions and concerns in a supportive and responsive manner, while promoting consistency in HR policies/practices; partner with HR Manager to resolve issues as applicable.• Engage directly with associates for important life moments in guiding our leave of absence administration and additional processes for certain policies.• Support HR Manager with coaching people leaders and associates on performance management issues and opportunities.You’ll bring to the role• 3-5 years of related HR experience in a fast paced, professional environment.• Experience working with HRIS data and ability to learn new systems. Workday experience a plus.• Employee relations experience, required.• Sound judgment, problem-solving and people management skills.• Customer-focused attitude with high level of professionalism and discretion.
