Partner Manager - Accounting Firms

We’re tackling a key challenge for all Internet businesses today: navigating the changing landscape of sales tax. In the last few years, SaaS businesses have gone from not having to worry about sales tax to needing to monitor their exposure, calculate local sales tax rates, and file returns in over 20 US states and many countries beyond the US. 

Anrok connects with a customer’s billing and payment systems and automates sales tax compliance. We have raised over $24M at a valuation north of $100M from Sequoia Capital and Index Ventures who co-led both our seed and A rounds. We have a hybrid remote model with half the team in San Francisco, and the other half distributed across the US in cities like Seattle, Denver, Houston, New York, and beyond.

As a Partner Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and managing partner relationships to help drive revenue growth for Anrok. You will develop and execute on strategies to expand Anrok's partner ecosystem through in-person events, enablement materials, and closely aligning with our Sales and Marketing teams. The role will focus on leveraging partners to generate new leads, drive new customer acquisition, and expand existing customer relationships. You will cultivate strong connections with partners to position Anrok as a preferred provider for sales tax solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and develop opportunities for engagement with the Partnership network including attending in-person events across the US to expand relationships with accounting firms from the Big 4 to mid tier firms 

  • Identify, recruit, and cultivate aligned partner relationships to deepen and expand Anrok’s existing network of accounting firms and build an ongoing pipeline of referral prospects to hand off to our Sales team.

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to create enablement materials and increase the ability for partners to successfully communicate the value of Anrok.

  • Work to grow the number of deals sourced through Partnership channels.

  • Create compelling communications and educational materials to help Partners solve sales tax with Anrok.

What excites us:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, business development or partner manager roles.

  • Experience with financial products or a background in finance, specifically experience building partnerships with accounting firms is a plus.

  • Exceptional written communication skills with an emphasis on being clear, concise, and informative.

  • You are a self-starter and have a track record of navigating ambiguity and producing concrete results.

  • You have a gift for fostering genuine relationships quickly and identifying common ground.

  • You are up to travel domestically several times a quarter.
