Lease Administrator

The Lease Administrator is responsible to manage, renew, research, and understand all changes and updates in lease documentation related to annual cottage rentals.  This position is required to proactively track, verify, document, and input all lease information into the tracking spreadsheet.  This position is responsible for handling all Lessee meetings, correspondence between the company and the Lessees regarding establishing new leases, renewals, construction changes, and rental payments, as well as other lease related items. 


Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage leases and building construction approval requests from Lessees related to annual cottage rentals located along the Susquehanna River
  • Manage paperwork for decks, sheds, modifications, etc.
  • Manage meetings and correspondence with Lessees
  • Read and abstract lease documents
  • Enter financial/non-financial information into Lease tracking spreadsheets
  • Maintain Rent Schedule and Vendors
  • Maintain renewal schedules
  • Coordinate with Vendors on Audits
  • Run and distribute all relevant monthly/quarterly reports
  • Maintain detailed, accurate and precise records.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts related to leases
  • Manage face to face meetings with Lessees in the local office
  • Coordinate issues with Lessees and Legal department, if required
  • Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field preferred
  • 3+ years prior retail real estate experience is preferred
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of lease terminology
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word, Adobe.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
  • Able to demonstrate business acumen and communicate effectively


Physical Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Anser Advisory Requirements
  • Employees must complete a background investigation
  • Full-time position based in: Conowingo, Maryland
  • Will work out of the visitors centers roughly 3 days a week and meet with Lessees by appointment only.  Other 2 days can be worked at home or our of Anser offices. 
  • Only qualified candidates will be considered.
