Role SummaryAnthropologie Living is looking for a Textiles, Print & Pattern Design Intern to join us for the Summer of 2025. The intern will support the design team in the overall design and development of new home products. This includes sketching and specifications for the products. The ideal candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for fabric techniques including weavings, embroideries, printing, and surface design.About the Summer Internship Program:Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. See for yourself what our past & present interns are up to @urbnearlycareers!The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/2 through 8/8 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.Summer Internship Program Application Process:Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component required for the design internship position you are applying for, you will be notified directly by 11/8. If requested to complete a project, it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position.Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 4th 2024.Role ResponsibilitiesSketch and develop new designs for a variety of textiles, including bedding, pillows, throws, rugs, and curtains.After designing, create technical specifications to ensure the products are manufactured to a high standard.Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies.Role QualificationsStudying for a degree in textiles, fine arts, or a similar field is preferred.Experience using design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator are essential.You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.The ability to work independently and as part of a team is a must.The PerksURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
