The Antiracism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) Coordinator is responsible for providing overall support to the ADEI Leadership Team helping to steward the colleges ADEI commitment. The ADEI Coordinator manages ADEI programing logistics, performs administrative duties such as webpage upkeep and creative design, and represents the team by cultivating meaningful relationships with partners in and outside the college community.
Anticipated Salary Range: $18.00 to $20.77 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and prepare various reports by conducting research, retrieving, and organizing relevant information and data.
- Answer and respond to emails.
- Creating communication materials (reports, posters, pamphlets, newsletters, marketing).
- Website maintenance.
- Take meeting minutes.
- Setting meeting agendas.
- Scheduling events (e.g., organizing catering, reserving rooms, travel planning).
- Caretaking of the front office area.
- Record and maintain accurate records (e.g., professional development, evaluations, budgets, and reconciliations, ADEI team consulting and programming requests).
- Develop rapport with community partners.
- Monitor programming requests.
- Schedule training events.
- Prepare training materials.
- Manage calendars.
- Operate software programs/systems and social media.
- Serve as an inclusive ADEI Team Representative maintaining a welcoming nature, cultivating internal and external community partnerships, leading with integrity, and displaying ethical conduct in the colleges best interest.
Additional Responsibilities:
o Actively support the colleges plan to be an antiracist institution by understanding, engaging with, and promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in the college community.
o Promote a culture of safety and environmental protection by working in a safe manner; immediately reporting unsafe
situations and accidents; following college procedures; and participating in appropriate safety training.
o Demonstrate environmental sustainability by using college resources wisely and supporting the colleges sustainability
initiatives and innovation.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience to include 1 year of experience working with young people and 2 years working with computer programs (e.g., Microsoft/Google Suite, Social-Media) knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
