Junior Merchandiser

The Opportunity

It’s an exciting time at Antler; we’ve reimagined our 110-year-old brand and are growing globally, making our ambitions a reality as we continue to build momentum.

We’re looking for a proactive and analytical Junior Merchandiser to join our UK team. You’ll be responsible for driving growth by ensuring our product mix aligns with market demands and maximises profitability, playing a key role in helping to plan, organise, and optimise our product offerings across channels and markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within a small but ambitious team and gain experience in global, multi-channel merchandising.

Core Responsibilities

We’re fast-paced and opportunistic, meaning we’re agile and comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting, where no two days are ever the same. But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy.

  • Inventory Management: Forecast and monitor stock levels to ensure we meet demand across direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and retail channels. Support in managing stock replenishment to avoid overstock and stockout.
  • Product & Branch Planning: Plan product assortments that align with our brand’s aesthetic and meet the needs of our customers across all channels. Oversee the WSSI ensuring optimal inventory distribution to maximise sales and enhance customer experience while minimising excess stock.
  • Planning & Analysis: Create a product range that suits each market, using sales data and customer insights to make recommendations. Monitor sales performance by SKU, identifying trends and suggesting adjustments to maximise sales.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Support the alignment of merchandising strategy with marketing campaigns and promotions ensuring products are positioned effectively to maximise exposure and conversion. Set-up and execution of promotional events for key marketing campaigns.
  • Pricing: Collaborate with Product and marketing Teams to determine pricing strategies, including promotions and markdowns.
  • Wholesale Account Support: Assist with stock allocation and replenishment to wholesale partners. Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure wholesale accounts have the products needed to meet consumer demand.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on stock, sales, and performance, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. Collaborate in post-season reviews to understand successes and areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Support with quality checks and product sample reviews to ensure all items meet our high standards before they reach the customer.
  • Market Expansion Support: Contribute to market research and analysis to support our expansion into new markets. Assist in planning product adaptations or special lines tailored to these.

Our Company

  • Antler is the British travel lifestyle brand. With a new leadership team, we have an innovative and entrepreneurial approach to the way we operate.
  • Established in 1914, we have a rich heritage - one that is respected and celebrated.
  • Since ATR Brands acquired Antler in 2020, we’ve achieved a lot. We’ve reimagined the brand, invested in the team, developed incredible new products and collaborated with exciting partners like Soho House and Lucy Williams amongst many more globally.
  • We’ve grown from a team of 6 to 30=+ in the past 3 years. We all bring something unique and are united in the common aspiration of being better than average; we have a will-do attitude where nothing is impossible.
