We are seeking an AP Processor Associate to join our growing and dynamic team. This position will be responsible for processing invoices and handling vendor inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and verify invoices and payment requests into PeopleSoft and SAP systems within established time standards.
  • Ensure all submitted payment requests have proper backup documentation, accurate coding, and approval and comply with corporate policy.
  • Review of T&E expense report in Concur system. Ensure proper documentation is being submitted according to T&E policy.
  • Assist in both PeopleSoft and SAP payment runs
    • SAP payment run: check payment proposals to ensure all approved invoices are in the payment run and work the payment exception list
    • PeopleSoft payment run: prepare and ensure timely payment processing of invoices and expense reimbursements via check, ACH, or wire payments
  • Review weekly aging reports to ensure all invoices will be paid in a timely matter.
  • Set up manual wires in the bank’s online banking system for associated SAP invoices
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries relating to payment status, invoice discrepancies, supporting documentation for month end, and internal/external audits
  • Perform SAP month-end close activities, including AP accruals, resolving GR/IR issues, etc.
  • Responsible for vendor maintenance in PeopleSoft and SAP
    • Request new vendor setup and ensure vendor banking is updated.
    • W-9 maintenance
  • Maintain PeopleSoft accounts payable files, including filing, scanning, and storage of documents
  • Contribute towards improvement initiatives
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Assist with special projects, office administration, and reporting as needed

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of principles, practices, regulations, and procedures relating to accounts payable.
  • 1-2 years of Work experience in the finance area is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related discipline preferred

Skills:

    • Must be able to handle all aspects of Accounts Payable
    • Experience with accounting software programs, preferably PeopleSoft and SAP
    • Fully functional with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
    • General knowledge of financial and accounting business practices
    • Demonstrated ability in multi-tasking and interacting with other departments to accomplish goals
    • Must be flexible, detail-oriented, and possess good analytical skills

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $min - $max . The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
