Staff Software Engineer, Renter
Apartment List is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance services supporting all renter experiences. The ideal candidate should have experience with backend and frontend technologies and be a constant learner.
Skills
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Go, Ruby, and Typescript (or willingness to learn)
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance services for the core platform
- Lead backend engineering efforts and collaborate with other teams
- Implement RESTful APIs and manage relational databases
- Drive developer productivity and velocity improvements
- Stay updated with new technologies and programming languages
