Bachelors degree in design or related field preferred• Disqualifiers: Portfolio is not included in submission.• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain:• Excellent portfolio with strong visual design examples• Ability to communicate well with the team and is a team player• Previously worked at Microsoft on the Windows team.• Candidate is local to Redmond, WA is a huge plus.• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, quality of work, and great collaborator.Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience• Minimum 10 years with Expert level visual design experience - using Figma to build motions video assets, edit videos. work with graphics and design static images• Minimum 10 years experience with 3D skillset• Minimum 10 years experience with UX designHard Skills Assessments• Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: As soon as possible• Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include 2 round panel style• Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have examples from portfolio prepared to speak about prior to the assessment.Summary:The main function of a Graphic Designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.Job Responsibilities:• Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems• Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design• Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client• Create charts and graphs from data givenQualifications:• Associates degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required.
