Apex Systems is looking for a proactive and experienced Project/Portfolio Manager to oversee our Identity portfolio and drive high impact projects to success.Role Overview:As a Project/Portfolio Manager, you will be at the helm of our Identity portfolio, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of multiple projects. You will be the key point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular status updates to the Senior VP level and above. Your role will be pivotal in tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring that all project milestones are met.Key Responsibilities:• Oversee the Identity portfolio and manage larger projects within the organization.• Provide comprehensive status reports and updates to Senior VP and above.• Manage software development projects within a large enterprise environment with multiple workstreams.• Track and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.• Prepare and present weekly status reports/project views for leadership.• Develop a deep understanding of the projects within the portfolio, proactively addressing dependencies and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless delivery.• Exhibit strong business acumen and maintain an executive presence in all interactions.• Communicate effectively, sending out meeting notes/recaps promptly and following up with team members to ensure alignment and progress.• Take initiative and be a go-getter, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are well-coordinated and on track.• Maintain meticulous notes and ensure that meetings have clear agendas, goals, and follow-up action items.Qualifications:• Proven experience in managing software development projects.• Experience working in a large, enterprise organization with multiple workstreams.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and track their progress simultaneously.• Agile methodology experience• MS Project, Jira, and Confluence experience• Strong business acumen and executive presence.• Excellent follow-up and communication skills.• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative without waiting for direction.• Exceptional note-taking skills and attention to detail.Apex Benefits Overview: Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
