Job Summary:

System Soft Technologies is looking for an Appian Senior Developer to lead the next phase of growth and the expansion of our LC/NC strategy and vision. He will be responsible for Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Experience developing in a low code platform with recent hands-on experience in design and implementation of Appian applications.
• Design and develop database objects to support applications.
• Translate requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions.
• Deliver projects in Agile software development methodologies, as project dictates.
• Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.
• Participate in the day-to-day activities of the Appian development teams.
• Work closely with release manager to ensure completion of key tasks including deployment, code baseline and merge, version control, etc.
• Must have experience or understanding in creating integrations, connected systems, error handling.
• Must have experience in managing deployments and pipelines, analyze and implement health check dashboard issues.
• Must have experience working in sprint 0, providing sprint demos, mentoring team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years delivering on Appian.
• Appian Senior Developer Certification mandatory
• Expert-level experience with Appian. Ability to write complex Appian SAIL Code.
• Strong understanding of Appian Objects such as Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Sites, Actions, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, and Process Models.
• Strong knowledge of Appian Process/Solution and Infrastructure Architecture
• Hands-on experience writing Appian Plugins (Smart Services, Function Plugins, and Servlet Plugins) Connected Systems, and Component UI Plugins.
• Front End design, Data modeling, integration design, business process automation design
• Experience implementing Agile projects.
• Experience in web development and understanding of web application architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and relational databases
• Proficiency in at least one development language e.g.: C#, Java, Python
• Proficiency in UI development languages e.g.: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Dev Ops experience
• Understanding of the technology landscape including open source, commercial on-premises, cloud-based tools.
