Great opportunity to work in a Civil Engineering position and gain some new experience and work with some great people.Responsibilities:-Assist with environmental compliance programs and projects.- Performs a variety of professional engineering work in connection with the engineeringdesign and operations support for a variety of facilities, infrastructure, programs, andprocesses.-Assists higher level engineers on large and complex projects or acts as a projectmanagement engineer on assigned projects; administers project from inception tocompletion including design, review, public meetings, bidding and construction; developsscope of work; serves as liaison to staff, developers, engineers, consultants, thegeneral public and external agencies on proposed projects; develops project timelines and sets priorities.-Prepares and reviews a variety of engineering reports, contracts, agreements, deeds,RFP’s, and other correspondence; prepares statements of costs, quantities and workperformed on projects.-Reviews engineering and development design drawing for compliance with regulations;provides input during design process to ensure capital and development projects meetoperational needs.-Compiles and computes engineering data and statistics and usesappropriate assumptions, methods and formulate to prepare detailed plans andengineering specifications.Skills and Experience:The ideal candidate will be a Team player who can multi-task, good organization skills, willing to learn and use SharePoint and has ability to search for information.-Some experience in environmental compliance for drinking water discharges, air quality, hazardous materials storage, hazardous waste disposal, and/or sanitary discharges is a plus.Don't miss out!
