We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of prevailing wages, union pay structures, and multi-state payroll regulations.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Administer payroll for union and non-union employees, including tracking and applying collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and union-specific pay structures.Ensure accurate calculation and payment of prevailing wages for applicable projects and contracts.Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, deductions, and garnishments.Oversee payroll tax reporting and filings for multiple states.Work closely with the HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll issues and answer employee inquiries.Stay current on payroll legislation, particularly related to multi-state and union regulations.Lead and manage payroll audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.Provide payroll reports and analysis to management as required.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar payroll leadership role.In-depth knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, prevailing wages, and union payroll processes.Proficiency with payroll software systems such as [Your Payroll Software, e.g., Paychex, ADP, etc.].Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with payroll processing in industries subject to prevailing wage laws (e.g., construction, public works).Familiarity with union agreements and collective bargaining processes.Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or similar credentials is a plus.EEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled.The Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
