Application Developer Analyst (Remote)

We are looking for an ambitious and multifaceted Application Developer Analyst to develop, improve, and modify the IT business applications that drive our Service Solution Operation Teams! In this role, you will have the chance to demonstrate your experience in analysis, design, coding, testing, and sustainment of software applications that will provide the technical backbone to our service business.

Responsibilities:
Participate in all aspects of Business applications, development, deployment, and support, both technically and functionally.

Develop creative solutions to challenging business problems by implementing software interfaces, data conversions, and customizations.

Manage collaborative projects with business analyst and key business partners including developing functional requirement and technical specification, project implementation, and training and support.

Serve as a mentor to other team members assisting with continuous training and development.

Provides task breakdown and timelines to meet established delivery dates.

Develops applications, improvements, extensions, and interfaces using standard development technologies and methodology.

Provide technical support by responding to help desk tickets and assisting users in resolving issues with the defined IT and business applications.

Responsible for promoting code changes and improvements through development and test instances and coordinating release to production.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a developer / business analyst role

Strong base in IT fundamentals, including full life cycle of an IT project – project initiation / planning, business requirements definition, functional / technical design, development, test plans, documentation, implementation.

In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, relational database design and concepts.

Oracle DBMS knowledge

Experience in Linux Shell Scripting

Extensive experience with structured programming

Proven track record of success working on a multi-faceted team.

Demonstrable ability to collaborate with and influence at all levels of the organization and across functional boundaries.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills able to convert ideas into practical solutions that deliver real results.

Strong project-management and organizational skills

Experience in Materials Planning / Logistic processes a plus.

Experience in Crystal Reports development a plus

Microsoft SQL Server, web services knowledge a plus.

National: The salary range for this position is $77,600- $144,000

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
